Hello! My name is Kimberly and I’m the owner and photographer of Kimberly Cowan Photography, LLC. I proudly built my business from the ground up. Today it is one of the most sought after & trusted bump to baby studios in the Permian Basin.
I first fell in love with photography in 2011 after being inspired by my passionate talented friends. I invested in my first DSLR camera to take pictures of my own kids and I never looked back. Additionally, I invest heavily in my training and equipment each year to get the business and art where it is today.
I’m a mother with two adorable children who are 20 and 11 year old. I’m also a Midland, TX native born and raised. I am proud to continue to grow my roots in my hometown. I currently hold a Master of Photography Degree (M. Photog.). In addition, I hold a Photographic Craftsman Degree (Cr. Photog.) and Certification (CPP) through Professional Photographer Association. I also have an Associates Degree in Business Systems through Midland College. Previously, I was a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP). I am a member of the Professional Photography Association, Texas Professional Photographers Association, and American Society of Photographers. Additionally, I am a member of Professional Photographers of America and International Association of Newborn Photographers.
