Breaking Bones – An Update About My Recent Health Challenge.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to share a little update on what’s been happening in my world lately. It’s been quite a rollercoaster ride, to say the least! On Easter Weekend, I had a little accident and ended up breaking my right radius bone in my wrist. Ouch, right?

Initially, it was pretty rough. The pain was intense, and I couldn’t imagine how I was going to manage with such a vital part of my body out of commission. As someone who thrives on being active and hands-on, the idea of being limited in what I could do was a tough pill to swallow.

But you know what? I’m doing okay now. The worst of the pain has passed, and I’m slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things. It’s been a journey, that’s for sure, but I’m grateful for every small victory along the way.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced during this time is keeping up with my work, especially when it comes to editing. As a photographer, editing is a crucial part of what I do, and not being able to use my dominant hand made it seem like an impossible task. However, with a little creativity and a lot of determination, I’ve been finding ways to make it work and will get your galleries out to you as soon as I can!

I’ve also been incredibly fortunate to have an amazing friend, With Love Photography, by my side throughout this ordeal. They’ve been an absolute lifesaver, helping me out with everything from setting up my tripod to assisting with smaller projects. Their support has been invaluable, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without them.

Newborn photography, in particular, has been quite challenging with my injury. It requires a delicate touch and a steady hand, both of which have been in short supply lately. But despite the obstacles, I’ve been pushing through, determined to not let this setback hold me back and working hard to get these priceless memories captured for you.

So, to everyone who has offered their support and well wishes during this time, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and encouragement mean the world to me, and they’ve helped me stay positive and motivated throughout this journey.

As I continue to heal and regain strength in my wrist, I’m looking forward to getting back to doing what I love most: capturing beautiful moments and creating memories that will last a lifetime. And who knows? Maybe this experience will only make me a stronger, more resilient photographer in the long run.

Until then, I’ll keep pushing forward, one day at a time, and I can’t wait to share more of my adventures with you all soon.

With gratitude and love,
