I truly want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all your love, support, and for my awesome clients who have trusted me to capture and create their special moments. This has been the most fulfilling job I have ever had and it makes my heart happy to be able to create magical happiness for you to cherish now and for the many years to come!
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking these past weeks and going over my accounting books (the not so fun stuff of business). I have decided that I need to change a few things when it comes to my pricing and packages. I want to really concentrate on making my business successful so I can keep doing what I do and not fall under the category of small businesses failing within the first few years. This isn’t my hobby, this is my full time career and I really need the financials to work out so I can continue to be able to take beautiful photographs for my clients and community.
It takes a lot of work to be able to provide you a quality photograph and the expenses really add up. Here are some of the things that I have invested in….
-Full Frame Professional Camera, Lenses, and Accessories
-Computers that can handle a large workload & the all the software
-Props, props, props, and did I mention props?
-Professional lighting
-Backdrops…. I have quite a bit
-Newborn posers, stand, more backdrops, wraps….
-Cost of goods
-Insurance
-Training
-Taxes
-Travel
-My time (it’s not just the shooting time, it’s the hours and hours of editing I do…) I put my heart and soul into my art.
-Studio & furnishings

Don’t worry, I do not plan on making my packages outrageously un-afforable. I still want to provide a quality service that fits into your budget.
The biggest change is that I’m not going to be giving away all of my high resolution images with the basic sitting fee package. I will be offering low resolution images on the USB’s (can print up to 4×6 and can share easily online with friends and family) instead and then showcase your beautiful photographs at your private in person print consultation. Mini session specials are the exception and the terms & products provided will be on the advertisements.
I’m also no longer an “everything” photographer. My speciality is maternity, newborns, babies, & families. I’m no longer going to market for weddings, engagements, commercial, headshot, and real estate. I do have a network of photographers I can refer you too if you need a service under these categories or if my services do not fit within your budget.
