I had the amazing opportunity to go to the Midland Park Mall today and capture a wonderful event very near and dear to a mothers heart. The public nurse in and mothers health event. https://www.facebook.com/events/474647779388092/
An entire group of mothers and families came today to show their support and raise awareness to this important cause. I’m not sure of the exact number of moms who came, but on Facebook there were 190 RSVP’s and 304 people interested. (From what I saw, it was a good turn out)
The event was organized in wake of a story of a breastfeeding mother being allegedly shamed at this location. The mother was feeding her baby when a group of people came to her, called her a slut, and then begin to video record her while shouting obscenities at her. This poor mother packed up her baby and ran out in tears.
I want to personally thank everyone who let me photograph them today and for supporting this beautiful cause. 🙂
